Airway Clearance Systems
Regular therapy to clear airways of secretions and mucus is essential for patients with certain respiratory conditions. High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation (HFCWO) therapy can successfully accomplish this through a vest that rapidly inflates and deflates, causing the chest wall to be gently compressed and released, which creates airflow within the lungs. This helps thin secretions and move mucus from the small airways to the large airways where it can be more easily cleared by coughing or suctioning. Our Monarch Airway Clearance System offers the ability to do treatments while on the go, providing flexibility to do therapy on your terms. Since 1988, Baxter's HFCWO system has been prescribed by more physicians than any other system.
