Supporting Baxter’s Mission Through Digital Education
Baxter is accelerating its digital transformation by driving data, insights and partnerships to advance our mission of saving and sustaining lives.
A key area of focus is advancing digital engagement with clinicians to provide valuable and clinically relevant training and education that can help them improve patient care. Manoj Parthasarathy, vice president of HR Digital Operations and Learning Solutions at Baxter, comments on the impact of a digital program recently launched for nephrologists. This program received a 2022 Brandon Hall Excellence Award, which acknowledges outstanding learning and development strategies, systems and tools that have achieved measurable results.
Our digital and learning teams empower our clinicians and other partners around the world through technology. For example, we recently created a program for nephrologists in partnership with the Peritoneal Dialysis Society of India that helps expand knowledge of peritoneal dialysis (PD) management best practices and teaches practical aspects of care, such as skills needed for a PD catheter insertion. By providing a digital way to learn, our self-service platforms allow clinicians to participate on their own time and at their own individual pace, enabling them to perform their jobs at the highest level and optimize patient care.
