discussion and possible negotiations. Every business contract is unique as the
type of arrangement depends upon a number of factors, such as the cost and
developmental stage of your technology, the type of technology, marketing requirements, regulatory hurdles and manufacturing issues.
There are a number of remuneration models which could be applied:
- Outright purchase of the rights to an idea
- A license agreement
- A distribution agreement
- Co-development of the idea into a product
- Funding opportunities to further develop idea
