V-LINK Luer-Activated Device with VitalShield Protective Coating Baxter’s V-Link device is the first antimicrobial IV connector and is the newest addition to a broad line of needleless IV access products. V-Link is coated both inside and out with a proprietary antimicrobial coating that is designed to help prevent microbial contamination and growth of pathogens in the device.
