Baxter provides patients with all the support they need to help keep home dialysis successful.
Baxter's HomeCare Services (HCS) team adds a personalized touch to your home dialysis treatment. They are responsible for coordinating:
- Prescription services
- Maximum order levels
- Monthly order placement
- Delivery scheduling
- Domestic and international travel orders
- Emergency orders (24 hours/7 days)
All HomeCare Service representatives are trained to resolve issues and complete requests. After-hours support is available for emergency stock out situations. To optimize prescription and order accuracy, HomeCare Services utilizes state-of-the-art tools for order entry which provide access to:
- Maximum order levels
- Patient prescriptions
- Dialysis center specified safety stock records
- Order history
- Calculation of order quantities based on reported inventory and usage data
- Automated order reminder

Home Delivery Services
Each month our Baxter-trained Service Specialists make over 30,000 home deliveries. Superior service is made possible through our national warehouse network and the dedication of our Service Specialists. The following exemplify the delivery services provided by Baxter:
- Inside deliveries every 28 days
- Call to patient prior to delivery indicating 3-hour delivery time window
- Rotation of patients' stock by Baxter Service Specialist upon request

Travel Services
Baxter has an extensive global distribution network which enables us to deliver to many destinations within the United States and around the world. With the help of Baxter's Global Destinations Program, patients can successfully continue their PD therapy while exploring the world abroad, including Alaska and Hawaii and cruises from any port, domestic or international.
