Producer Responsibility and WEEE in Latvia

Latvia WEEE Regulations

Baxter products are sold in Latvia by distributors. The distributor acts as the importer of the equipment into Latvia. Thus the distributor has the legal responsibility to:

  • Register as the WEEE producer in Latvia.
  • Finance arrangements for collection and recycling of WEEE arising from Baxter products that the distributor sells in Latvia.
