Baxter's eServices Center provides the ability for customers to service their own information and transactional needs directly from Baxter.com. Specifically, customers can acquire products, information and services directly from Baxter via the internet without phoning or faxing in their request.

EDI is the computer-to-computer form of Electronic Commerce using commonly accepted standards. Baxter uses EDI to send customers pricing information, receive customer purchase orders, send customers purchase order acknowledgements and invoices, and receive customer payments and remittances.

The VLX file upload was designed for customers who have the capability of generating a fixed file format. The file format is identified with certain criteria setup within the customers Material Mangement System (ERP). The option of upload allows the customer to submit a purchase order file in a timely manner, instead of having to telephone in. Order status can then be reviewed using the eServices Center website.
