Executive Officers - David P. Scharf

David P. Scharf is corporate vice president and general counsel of Baxter.
Scharf joined Baxter in 2005 and was appointed to his current role in 2009. Previously, Scharf held positions of increasing responsibility at Guidant Corporation and Sears, Roebuck and Co. and was an associate with Baker & Daniels.
Scharf received his law degree from the University of Chicago, where he was a member of the law review, and his bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University. Prior to law school, Scharf worked in foreign exchange derivatives for a predecessor of UBS.
